Quarantine Healthcare Podcast

The summer before we went into lockdown due to the pandemic, I had volunteered for many hours at Maxine Hall Health Center, a clinic in San Francisco. During the lockdown, although I could not physically go to Maxine Hall, I was always interested in how workers at hospitals and other parts of the healthcare field were faring during this large outbreak. As a result, I started a podcast that revolved around increasing understanding as to what working in the healthcare industry actually entailed.

I reached out to managers, physicians, and other employees in the healthcare field in order to conduct an interview revolving around their current jobs, career paths, and how the coronavirus has affected how they work. After interviewing a guest for the episode, I would edit the recording and publish the episode online. While I did start conducting these interviews out of curiosity for the current conditions of healthcare providing, my goal was to also help listeners gain a closer look into the healthcare field through personal interviews with those immersed in the field themselves.
